About Dr. Gregory Stein

Dr. Gregory Stein is a vitreoretinal specialist focusing his practice on the medical and surgical treatment of retinal conditions. He is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He completed his undergraduate education at Harvard College and earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and a residency in ophthalmology at Columbia University Medical Center, where he served as a co-chief resident. Following his residency, he completed three fellowships to deepen his knowledge and expand his skills in the management of vitreoretinal diseases and surgery.

Dr. Stein maintains surgical privileges at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.

Dr. Stein is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS).
